Castigo is derived loosely from the Portuguese word meaning sacrifice in achieving goals. The name in itself outlines a desire/sacrifice to add value to projects and ultimately servicing the clients. Our name symbolizes the true essence of Project Management in the science/sacrifice of delivering projects within the stipulated parameters and the ability to rise to any challenge and the strength to see a project through inception to completion/project closure.

Castigo Project Managers (Pty) Ltd was established in 2012 as a totally independent consulting practice providing services within the Built Environment. The practice brings an integrated, flexible approach to managing projects. Castigo is a professional Construction Project Management company that provides stand-alone Project, Construction and Development Management services across the Built Environment.

The firm is in its entirety, owned by historically disadvantaged individual and has no contracting or other commercial interests that might detract from the advice and service offered to all our Clients.

Castigo is a black empowered company offering a hands-on approach to the delivery of successful and sustainable property projects. Castigo is a young dynamic company that intends/aims to be recognised as one of the leading project management company in Southern Africa.

How does Castigo see Project Management?

Castigo`s project management service is in accordance with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management professions (SACPCMP) scope of services and covers the following stages:
